Introducing Chef Lewis Vargas
With over 22 years of professional experience, our new Chef Lewis Vargas's passion for cooking began in his childhood, inspired by watching his grandmother and mother prepare daily meals. Their joy in cooking and the delight it brought to others fueled his dream to become a chef. At ten, Lewis knew his path, and after high school, he pursued culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University, earning a Bachelor's degree with top honors in 1994. His career began at renowned establishments like Robert de Niro's Tribeca Grill and the historic James Beard House, and he honed his skills at Gary Danko's Michelin Star restaurant in San Francisco.
